The Call To The Prepared

Recently I watched a video of two great men of God who have been voices of prophetic clarity to America and the world for decades. One of them asked the other in their contact with believers as they traveled what was the number one thing they saw and heard from others. Both men agreed that fear and great uncertainty of what the future holds was filling the hearts and minds of people with whom they had encountered.

 Knowledge and wisdom garnered from years of studying the scriptures and hearing the voice of God doesn't make it any easier for prophets. Knowing more can produces fear on another level. On this blog I have endeavored to share the events happening in our world that show us we are near the end.

Jesus said there was coming a generation that would face history's greatest challenges and see no way out. I am not going to do a dissertation on Matthew 24 but L have no doubt we are living in those times. We saw last summer the somber fact with the Ebola virus how quickly plagues could rage out of control. Now Europe fears the spread of the Mers virus there.

 We are also the generation that has seen the threat of nuclear war hanging over the entire world. As the United States begins to pull back both China and Russia are posing serious threats to the world.  China's neighbors in the near and far east are uneasy as the shadow Beijing is falling on them. China has threatened the United States with nuclear war and both Russia and China have launched successful cyber attacks on the US.

Many poor nations of the world are starving while unusual weather patterns have brought crop failures and water shortages around the world. Economists tell us that the world is also facing a global economic disaster that could plunge the world into the greatest depression in human history.

All of these challenges have faced mankind before but never in recorded history has the entire world found itself facing these extremities at the same time.

I have painted a rather extreme picture but unfortunately a truthful one. Jesus warned us of these days and he said his followers in those days would face death and that those who killed them would earnestly believe they were obeying God's will.

I believe that the scriptures are giving us a new and clearer understanding of passages like Matthew 24 that earlier generations could not comprehend. In prayer and supplication today my heart was stirred by the dangers we face and suddenly it seemed the clouds of fear parted and I saw clearly.

Jesus has always had a message for his people, in every generation. I understood what Matthew 24 is telling us is their will be a time in world history when every nation on earth shall face challenges so great that there would be no way out. We are the Armageddon generation who are facing history's darkest days.

Jesus told us that when we see all these things begin to happen on a worldwide level to fear not. He told us to lift up our heads for our redemption draws nigh. I lift my voice to those lonely followers of Christ who face death not just daily but from moment to moment. To the hungry starving masses of people around the globe, to that lonely heart who trembles in fear within the confines of your own heart.

 Do not despair. The time has come to separate ourselves unto God   as we never have before. Soon the wealth is going to vanish. Hunger and thirst, plagues and war are just over the horizon. We are the generation who will come to realize that the Lord God Jehovah is our only hope.

Saints of Jesus Christ he told that generation who would live to see these days to not be overcome with fear but instead allow the Spirit of God to prepare our hearts for he is coming soon for a church that has washed and cleansed their hearts for his return. Now is the time to fix our hearts on things above. To let go of the materialistic lust, greed and avarice and capriciousness of this age. There is hope for those who sell out to Jesus with all their hearts for he has promised to return and catch away unto himself those who call on him in this hour and give themselves over to the Holy Spirit to nbe cleansed and purified as a bride for our returning Lord.
