Freedom is to be cherished

Today thousands of Chinese civilians marched in the streets of Hong Kong in a determined effort to show the world that the life of freedom is a hope but not a reality. Today was the 18th anniversary of the day Great Britain handed control over Hong Kong to China. History shows us that freedom once lost is very hard to regain. The more power we give to any central government the more likely someday we will wake up and mourn  the loss of freedom.
