Tears of the broken
It is my privilege this past April to celebrate my 61st
spiritual birthday. My mind and heart
has rejoiced in the freedom this nation has afforded unto me, to follow and worship
the Lord my God and to enjoy the freedom to do so. Today I see those freedoms
begin to wither away and my heart grieves as the nation I have been so proud to
call my own has walked away from its
heritage. By doing so it has
forsaken the God who by his eternal blessing built this nation into the
greatest repository of freedom the world has ever known. It is not my intention to vilify those who
might disagree with me, rather to stand for the right to love and worship my
God. To be a voice of love and
compassion to those individuals who may have lost their way and to others who
do not have a relationship with the Lord.
His is not the voice of correction so much as the one true source to
love, individual freedom and hope.
